SUMMED UP SERMON:
2/23/21

Last night, Pastor Jaime continued with the series:
Debunking Lies We Believe: Self-Worth comes from popularity.
Many times, we measure our self-worth by other people’s
opinions, our popularity, our ability to perform well, by how much
money we have or even our job. However, if these things were
stripped from us, we would be left feeling empty.
You can determine something’s worth by how much you are willing
to pay for it. Would you be willing to pay $100 for a Caramel
Frappuccino? No! It’s not worth that kind of money! Jesus thought
you were worth EVERYTHING and sacrificed Himself to show you
how much you are loved and valued. When our self-worth is found
in who God made us to be and in the fact that Jesus thinks we are
worth His precious life…we won’t experience the hurt and
loneliness that comes from having our self-worth found in other
things.
Here are some scriptures you can read over your life on a daily
basis! Love you all and hope to see you soon!
Ephesians 2:10 “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which
God prepared in advance for us to do.”
Isaiah 64:8 “Yet you, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the
work of your hand.”
Psalm 139:14 “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are
wonderful, I know that full well.”
Joshua 1:9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not
be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
1 Peter 5:6 “Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up
in due time.”

Song of Songs 4:7 “You are altogether beautiful, my darling; there is no flaw in you.”
2 Timothy 1:7 “For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.

Love you guys!
